by commissioning me you agree to the following:- i have the right to decline a commission should i feel uncomfortable or for any other reason that i do not need to specify.- i have the right to refuse to draw anything i’m uncomfortable with and/or am not sure i can do. if you’re unsure if i will accept your request feel free to ask about it first.- only non-commercial use of the commissioned illustration is permitted. feel free to print it out for personal use or use as an icon on social media.- mass reproduction and non-personal use of the finished illustration and any progress shots/sketches/works in progress that i send you is prohibited, be it for commercial or non-commercial use.- you may not use or distribute any sketches/works in progress shots i send you in any way, shape, or form, including posting them online.- you may not use my work or any part of it on platforms/accounts that are monetized.- you may not sell or exchange my art in any form, physical or digital, print or NFT, under any circumstances unless you have my written permission AND have paid for the rights to do so.- you may not use my work or any part of it for any AI, including but not limited to generative AI and NFTs.- you may post the finished illustration online with credit (my name and/or online handle and a clickable link to one of my socials) however, i would appreciate if you waited until i post the commission on my socials first.- i will not claim ownership of any character that does not belong to me- i will not use the finished illustration to create and sell merchandise (e.g. art prints or keychains) without your permission- any art i create is my own. unless you have purchased exclusive rights, i retain all rights to use my art in any way i choose.
- i currently use paypal and only paypal through “goods and services.”- i take full payment upfront before starting on any sketches- i do not accept refunds after i have started a piece.- my base price list is for reference only. the final price of the commission is decided on a case by case basis. depending on what’s requested it could be the minimum, or it could be more. do not send me payment before i’ve provided a total for you.- please don’t add a tip to the amount owed on paypal!
- i work very slow and am currently in school. expect me to take 1-3 months (after payment) to complete your commission. if any delays occur, i will let you know as soon as possible- if you have a certain deadline you would like me to meet, or need the illustration urgently, please discuss it with me BEFORE you pay for the commission. if you do not, i cannot guarantee i will meet your deadline.
consider that this still falls under my 1-3 month completion time and plan accordingly.
1. social media info (not a requirement)
If you would like to be tagged when i post your finished commission on my socials please send,- your tumblr/instagram/bluesky handle that you’d like me to tag- the pronouns i can refer to you for the caption- any preferences on how i introduce the commission (character name, rpg species/class, media character originated from, etc.)should you not wish to be tagged, let me know. i will refer to you as anonymous, but the third point is still welcome2. references
please provide a visual and/or written reference of the following:character appearance:
- facial features/head features
- hairstyle & hair color
- skin tone, body type, other important anatomical features, apparent age, and height (if relevant)
- clothing & accessories you’d like to see in the illustrationthe general picture
- pose & facial expressions
- if any, objects the character should be interacting with
- color scheme/lighting/mood
- if any, background
- any other relevant information that hasn’t been covered yetfor pre-existing characters/fanart
- all or most of the above
- the name of the media they are from
- if any, a specific canon outfit you’d like me to referencedetailed descriptions are welcome in bullet point format as opposed to long sentences for ease in tracking the requested details.
- you can modify your commission type any time before i’ve taken payment and start to work on it (e.g. requesting to change your choice from a half body to a full body)
i allow any additional upgrades/add ons during this time. all you have to do is let me know and i’ll update your com info.- i will let you know when i've started your commission.
any time after payment is received is when i will not allow commission type changes.- i allow up to 2 major changes during the process itself (new pose, different colors, new clothing, etc.)
anything after that i will start charging $5 for each major change as it takes more time to finish.
i will not accept major changes once i start rendering- if i forget to include any details that were part of your original request, or portray them incorrectly or in a way that goes against the original description/reference (e.g. this object was described as blue and i made it purple) i will change it free of charge.you will receive progress shots when i finish the:
- rough sketch
this will give you an idea of the pose and overall composition. practically anything can be changed if you so require.
- line art
the finished line art. here, i can change a small number of things should you request (e.g. changing the shape of the characters mouth)
here would be a good place to ask for any major changes should you desire.
- base colors
at this stage i check in to confirm you like the colors
- full render
this would be the finished illustration. i can change any small details or do minor color correction should you request.
i will not accept requested major changes at this stage (e.g. changing the characters current outfit or changing the characters current pose.)
as always, don’t be afraid to ask me questions or express any concerns.
